At first I tried to put files in it, but it wouldn't go in. Then I tried using utility disk in the mac apps by following instructions online on how to format it for mac, but it said error and didn't work. Finally I downloaded "SD Card Formatter," app which I had to install in my mac and followed the instructions to format it, which worked! It even showed that there was 536gb of space!This also led me to believe that maybe it was the adaptor that made the difference, so I tried to use the Alisinsen adaptor on other previous micro sd cards I bought before but didn't show up on the mac finder. It also worked. Thanks!
